In order for your body to maintain good health, your liver needs to be able to function optimally. Your liver is one of the most important organs in your body!

Why is it so important to take care of your liver?

Did you know that your liver is responsible for performing over 500 essential functions? Some of these functions include breaking down food and aiding your body’s assimilation of vital nutrients, converting glucose into glycogen, fighting infection, filtering out toxins, producing bile to breakdown fat and much more.

Your liver is also one of the most important organs for detoxification. It detoxifies both internal waste products and external environmental pollutants. If the liver’s ability to detoxify ceases, you can be dead within a matter of hours.

Your liver is not only one of the most important organs, it’s also one of the most overworked organs!

Due to the continued spread of environmental toxins, along with common lifestyle factors such as poor diet, alcohol consumption, the regular use of pharmaceutical drugs, and other factors, your liver is constantly under siege. Over time, the impact of these and other factors can result in impaired liver function, setting the stage for poor health.

Turmeric and curcumin stimulate bile production and excretion

Turmeric and curcumin were shown to act as natural cholagogues -meaning they stimulate bile production in the liver and encourage excretion of bile. The secretion of bile is vitally important to the whole digestion of fats. Bile produced in the liver also acts as a natural laxative, helping the liver perform its many detoxification functions.

Both turmeric and curcumin also help the liver convert the cholesterol it produces into bile acids, both by stimulating a special enzyme which plays a primary role in the bile acid synthesis, and through increased bile acid secretion itself. This, in turn, may help support healthy cholesterol levels.

Turmeric and curcumin act as natural detoxifying agents

When it comes to detoxifying, your liver is the most important organ carrying out numerous detoxification processes in addition to the literally hundreds of other tasks it is responsible for on a moment-by-moment basis.

All of us are exposed to thousands of different types of toxins on a daily basis. They exist within our air, soil and water supplies, in the foods and water we drink, and in many home and household products. When the body’s ability to detoxify itself from this toxic overload becomes impaired for any length of time, health issues inevitably follow. The buildup of toxins in the body is also one of the primary causes of premature aging.

Turmeric and curcumin act as natural detoxification agents and aid the liver to get rid of the toxins that surround us.

Curcumin helps maintain a healthy liver

Numerous studies have shown that curcumin exhibits hepaprotective effects, helping the liver keep the body free of toxicity induced by agents such as pollutants, drugs and alcohol.

Because of their ability to help protect the liver from toxins, turmeric and curcumin can help maintain healthy liver function and support detoxification processes. Turmeric and curcumin offer even further protection because of their ability to prevent the liver’s hepatic duct from becoming swollen and bloated, and for their ability to shrink these ducts when they are engorged.

How can I get good quality of turmeric and curcumin extracts to support my liver?

Curcumall® is an all-natural liquid herbal supplement of turmeric extract, curcumin and ginger extract. It was developed over the course of seven years by scientists in the health and medical research fields to harness the health-giving properties of curcumin without the problem of stomach upset and with improved absorption.

Typically, curcumin is poorly absorbed into the bloodstream through the digestive tract. Curcumall® is more readily absorbed than most available curcumin products due to its extraction process and liquid form. This technologically advanced formula delivers more curcumin to the blood while optimizing its efficacy.

Can I take this product if I have gallbladder stones?

    1. Curcumall.com team

      Hi Ron,
Gallstones are hardened deposits that are composed of cholesterol, bile, lecithin and other substances.
Curcumin, the active ingredient of turmeric, stimulates bile production in both the gallbladder and its bile ducts but also stimulates gallbladder contractions. These help to maintain proper bile flow and also prevent the buildup of bile and other compounds from combining together to form gallstones.
When there are gallstones, in some cases there are some deposits also in the ducts that connect the bile to the liver.
If the gallstones are only in the gallbladder then Curcumall may help to dissolve them. However, if there are also deposits in the connecting ducts – the contractions that are mentioned above can cause pain and even injury.
Therefore you should either entirely avoid curcumin, or try to take Curcumall and stop taking it in case of any pain in the area.
